This fairly difficult course, which is the only par 3 design in Saskatoon, offers incredible views of the Saskatchewan River from its back nine. Every one of the slightly elevated and subtly contoured greens has some combination of water, sand and/or trees lurking nearby. Some greens have severe slopes and undulations calling for good putting perception. The fairways are all kept in good condition due to the four large irrigation ponds, which run through the heart of the course. Perhaps the toughest hole is #16, a 171-yard, par 3, which contains heavy penalties for missing the green. Not only is the green well protected by strategically-placed bunkers, but if your tee shot veers right, you will find yourself in a deep valley with a very difficult recovery shot. This course is popular with anyone who wants to sharpen their short game or get in eighteen holes before work or after supper.
