This course, which was called Everglades Golf Club until 1993, has been described by a local Canadian publication as a diamond in the rough. The course is incredibly picturesque with a plethora of pine, birch and cedar trees lining the fairways. The greens are proportionally sized for the length of the course. Water comes into play on fourteen holes, including seven holes on the front nine and seven holes on the back. The signature hole is #6, a 162-yard, par 3, which has water running along the left side of the fairway, a pond in front of a small green, and a pond protecting the back of the green. This is a very challenging course with equally spectacular scenery.
