The Ridge Course is more wooded and incorporates more elevation changes into its design. The Canal Course is more of a Florida-style course, featuring more water, more wind coming into play, and a wider, more open playing area. From both courses, there are beautiful views of the mountains to the north as well as two Bald Eagles, who are residents of the club, and a variety of other animals and foliage. The club annually hosts the Greater Vancouver Open, which is now the Air Canada Championship. The signature hole on the Ridge Course is #18, a 561-yard, par 5, requiring the first and second shots to be hit over water on the approach to a semi-island green. The signature hole on the Canal Course is #17, a 180-yard, par 3, requiring the tee shot to a semi-island green.
